PRE-SEMINAR SERVICES

Every speaker knows the real work happens behind the scenes as you prep and perfect your performance. The same holds true for seminar production. We work hard early on so your event appears seamless on D-day (Delivery Day). Take advantage of our pre-seminar services that incorporate fresh ideas into an exciting package made just for you.


Venue Management
  • Research options to find the venue best suited to your (and your audience) needs
  • Solicit RFP’s from potential venues and present top choices in terms of locale, pricing, services offered, or other pre-determined benefits
  • Negotiate for best pricing
  • Conduct site interviews and inspections (for cleanliness, set-up capabilities, etc.)
  • Act as the hotel/site liaison, coordinating all fiscal and event planning details
  • Route and handle all correspondence (phone calls, e-mails, fax, contracts, deposits)
  • Catering/menu selection and coordination
  • Room block management
  • Assess staff quality and reliability
  • Handle client special requests
Marketing & Promotion

Speakers are required to have up-to-date media kits. TIG will use this media kit as our foundation. If you require a media-kit (or a refresher of your current kit), we’re happy to refer you to experienced media writers.
  • Direct funding toward the most cost-effective media to communicate with your target audience
  • Coordinate media outreach including direct mail, e-marketing campaigns, press releases, media placement, web advertising, web sales pages, billboards, marquees, and more
  • Orchestrate grassroots marketing campaigns
  • Explore local media opportunities surrounding your engagement date (radio and TV interviews, retail/trade/bookstore appearances)
  • Design high impact print and media campaigns to create pre-promotional buzz for your event
  • Design and deliver post-seminar surveys
  • Oversee marketing material production and delivery
  • Consulting services available for graphic design, web design and development, keyword selection, copywriting, and identifying your target market
Sponsor Management

If you’re a speaker booking at a flat rate of at least $2,500/engagment or if your average audience capacity is over 100, sponsors may be available to underwrite a portion of your seminar costs. Our services include:
  • Identifying and approaching potential sponsors
  • Negotiation of sponsor packages
  • Sponsor Liaison – handling of all phone calls, faxes, e-mails, questions
  • Coordination of all sponsor advertising: pricing, platform mentions, graphics, web site copy, web ads, direct mail, brochures, banners, etc.

  • Arrange for books/products to be sent to event
  • Package and ship any unsold product back to speaker

While most of our clients come to us with a depth of speaking experience, we do occasionally partner with newer speakers we see as dedicated and having the potential to move forward in their careers. For those new to the world of professional speaking—or those looking to brush up on basic skills—we offer the Professional Speaking Series and Curriculum Coaching Courses below.
